Purchased Zinik 18' wheels from Tire Rack and am completely dissatisfied with the both the product from Zinik and the service received from Tire Rack. Within a year of purchasing the the brand new wheels, we had to replace one wheel due to bending, and we currently have two more wheels that are also bent.

After the initial wheel bent Tire Rack basically told us it was not their fault and they would sell us a new one for 30% off (this was within 4 months of purchasing the wheels brand new.) When the other wheels also started to bend we went to tire rack in person and was told again that there was nothing they were willing to do other than selling us new tires. Tire rack was initially communicating with us regarding this issue, but once we called them out on their practices they have ceased communication.

NEVER purchase Zinik wheels unless you don't want to actually use them or you don't mind buying replacement wheels within the next few months. Oh the painted surface is also no good, they scratch and bubble if you actually use the wheels....STEER CLEAR!!

It sound to me like a lot of you didn't do your research before you bought your wheels. Thanks to your comments I will never buy Zinik Wheels; however, I doubt that I would have considered them prior to reading these reviews as the Interent is full of other Zinik-haters.

Don't blame TireRack.com for your lack of research.

Read the terms before you buy from anyone, and know the manufacturer's overall reputation before you buy.

My experience with TireRack.com has only been good, but then again I have only bought products that I already know to be exceptional from manufacturers that I know I can trust. TR is just my cheap middleman.

I also had a bad experience with Zinick. They might look nice in the pictures, but they aren't so strong and get bent easily.

Any wheel can get bent from hitting pot holes, but it happens much more easily with poor quality wheels.

I have Enkei Racing wheels now and they are much lighter and stronger. Do your research before buying aftermarket wheels.

To:you get what you paid for. Price is not the only factor that determines quality!

The zinik wheels were not the cheapest product on tire rack by far, so the idea that they are an inferior product due to that factor alone is moronic! When you purchase a product from a retailer who is supposed to sell quality products you expect a certain level of backbone and customer service that tire rack did not possess.

Zinik wheels are manufactured very cheaply.

Within the 1st year chrome started peeling and bubbling. Fortunately the dealer had my back and got them to provide 2 new but within the next year the entire set started to pit.

The dealer is the largest rim reseller in tampa and said he would never sell another set of Zinik rims.Zinik is a terrible company to buy from!!!

I have been buying wheels and tires from TireRack for many years.

Overall, 3 sets of wheels and 5 sets of tires.

Service has always been EXCELLENT and I recommend then to all my friends. Especially for this looking for wheels and tires mounted and ready to go.

I am sure they sell junk at some price points but is that really their fault or yours ?

Many years, how many exactly? If you drive like some of the blue hairs that get in our way on the road, then maybe yours will last.

But 5 sets and no problems? Ha! Maybe you don't know much about tires,or cars.

Just how to put gas in them????? Good luck with Tire Crack!

I purchased a set of 18" Zinik wheels also from tire rack. Within the first two weeks two of the rims had large nasty bends in them without hitting any abnormally large pot holes or any other logical reason.

Both Zinik and Tire Rack told me there was nothing they can do and I should "Learn how to drive." The Zinik wheels I bought have a tall thin lip on the outside and it is a huge point of weekness, and they must've been engineered by a *** addict. Never buy Zinik Z24, unless you only want rims that will last two weeks

I have ordered several sets of tires from tire rack, and i have never had any problems with them at all. i have never bought wheels so im not sure about that.

I have ordered two sets of snow tires from them and within minuets they called me to make sure i knew they were for winter only and not all season.

so i cant say much about those wheels, and sorry to hear about that. but i love tirerack.com and will deffinitly buy more tires from them...
